  1. "This is Lauren. She and I are married" I could say that Lauren and I are married. Lauren and my wife are married. You and I are married. Who is Lauren married to? Who are you married to? It's irrelevant actually, so why mention it? Try to make sense when you speak. There are grammar rules for a reason. Taste is subjective.
