  1. I have been a paid Life Member of the NRA since 1973. My father was a Life Member since before WW2. For the past many years, I have been returning every request for a donation with "FIRE LaPierre" written on it. I have been donating to GOA and SAF instead. I truly hope that the NRA will take this opportunity to reevaluate it's mission and make changes. If they do, I will resume making monthly donations to them.

  3. I can tell you that, in the wake of Watergate, I didn't expect Ford to win election in 1976. I voted for him, but wasn't surprised he lost. I doubt any Republican could have been elected in 1976. (even Reagan lost his nomination bid). So, it was inevitable that Carter would be elected. Jimmy Carter was a lousy President. He is a very smart man, but was a lousy President. I also believe he is a very sincere and honest man. It was just as predictable he would not be re-elected in 1980. In his retirement, he was an honorable man, stayed out of politics and helped Americans by actually building homes for them. Not being just a front man, but swinging a hammer! Rosalynn was a true southern gentlelady and a great help to her husband and her country. They both deserve to be remembered fondly for their sincere love of the country.

  7. CBS scrambling to find excuses for Biden and Garland. They were OK with protecting the identify of the whistleblower in the Trump impeachment. They didn't ask if HE had a political agenda.🤣 I like watching them squirm!

  11.  @babybirdhome  How would you "cancel" a Paid Up life membership? I didn't do the "pay over time" life membership, I paid in full. I enjoy the magazines, and used to be a contributing writer to The American Rifleman and American Hunter in the 80s and 90s. I have not been donating additional funds for many years because of their poor management. Were you at the Cincinnati NRAAM in 1977?

  12. They are NOT "migrants", they are illegal aliens. Migrant workers have legal work permission, illegal aliens don't. Good riddance! This means MORE JOBS for legal immigrants and legal "migrant workers." Thank you Governor DeSantis. That's WHY we voted for the legislature we have.

  13. FAKE NEWS! 1. there was an AMENDMENT to a BILL which would have added a ban on AR-15 style rifles which was misinterpreted to have been accepted by a voice vote. The voice vote was followed by a recorded vote (they always are) and failed. 2. Had the AMENDMENT passed, it may have been later stripped OR the BILL may not have passed the Senate. AT NO TIME, even briefly, did the Florida Senate "approve a ban on AR-15 style rifles" . The reporter has clearly not completed his 8th grade civics course yet.
