  1. FAKE NEWS! 1. there was an AMENDMENT to a BILL which would have added a ban on AR-15 style rifles which was misinterpreted to have been accepted by a voice vote. The voice vote was followed by a recorded vote (they always are) and failed. 2. Had the AMENDMENT passed, it may have been later stripped OR the BILL may not have passed the Senate. AT NO TIME, even briefly, did the Florida Senate "approve a ban on AR-15 style rifles" . The reporter has clearly not completed his 8th grade civics course yet.
