I think Rep. Mace is correct. Biden's approval in WV is 18%, and going down. Manchin isn't going to vote for it. Hard to say it is someone else's fault when you control both chambers of Congress and the White House. It is a Democrat (and there may be more than just one) that is killing this. What we are seeing with the child tax credit is exactly the kind of tricks the Democrats do. They implement something for 1 year to play budgeting games, and then panic when it is about to expire. This is exactly what they are doing with the "Build Back Better" bill, and Manchin knows it.
