  3. The REAL problem Trump has is that the RNC is not going to put the name of a person indicted on federal felonies on their ballots in their primary elections and caucuses. There is nothing in the Constitution or federal law that prevents him from running for President, even from a prison cell, but the RNC does not have to allow him on their ballots or debate stages. Primary elections are a party function, controlled by the party. So then what? Run as an independent? He can. And assure Biden's reelection.
