  1. We've been in a recession since January, at least. Actually since December, 2021. It will take until July 28th to be "official". Biden will STILL say it is the "best economy in history"

Recession started in late 2021. 4th quarter 2021 had barely any growth, because the last month or two were already in recession. 1st quarter 2022 showed a recession because the economy was receding the full quarter. 2nd quarter 2022 will be the same. By the time a recession is "official" (2 quarters of loss in a row) you have been IN a recession for nearly 7 months, minimum. (2Q report will come on July 28th). If you consider that the 4th quarter 2021, was below 3rd quarter 2021 (even though it was not yet negative) you could say we have been IN a recession since at least October, 2021. For that matter, economic growth has been declining since 1st quarter 2021. But was not "negative" until 1st quarter 2022. Biden came in to a VERY strong recovery. Try as he might, it takes a year of bad management to erase all that momentum. It's not easy to stop a roaring economy. But Biden did it!
