All they have to do is make union membership VOLUNTARY. If the union can offer benefits to the worker that make them WANT to be members, fine. If you have to FORCE people to join, there is clearly no benefit for the worker.

@jamesmore2919 Yes, that's what I am saying. If the union offered legitimate benefits, why would anyone NOT want to join? If the union can't attract members based on a value for $ basis, then the union needs to go out of business. Just as the host company would if they couldn't compete. 47% of Americans don't pay income taxes. Many people get a "refund" of taxes they never paid...the Child Tax Credit and the Earned Income Tax Credit are two examples. Your "tax comparison" is non-sensical. If I CHOSE to join a union, would I work next to a person who CHOSE not to join the union? Yes. No problem. If I was FORCED to join a union, I would quit my job.
