  1. Well, yes you can. But you cannot CONVICT, and if the Senate would only acquit, there is no point. Right now, the Dems don't have enough votes even to impeach. Too many "swing district" Dems.

  2. Correction: He puts it on hold after internal polling shows what he is doing is failing. Nancy said yesterday NO IMPEACHMENT, and she doesn't want to be asked about it again. The House voted to "allow" Nadler to "sue" for failure of the administration to comply with subpoenas. He won't. Instead, see, he made this "deal". They did their little pretend dog and pony show for the wacko base. It didn't work. Trump gave them a hand to the face and they are backing down. Nadler has become a laughing stock. The John Dean testimony was nothing but comic gold for Republicans. It's over. Time to quietly back away and hope their wacko base doesn't notice.
