  1. If it is being done because of Texas' "stand your ground" or self defense laws, then he should be given a FULL PARDON. "Clemency" is NOT a "pardon". A pardon is the dismissal of the charge and the wiping clean of one's record. "It never happened". Clemency is "leniency". In this case, it would mean that the person would probably serve no prison time but his record would not be "wiped clean" and he would still be a "convicted murderer"
