  1. So...in an update, Luke Combs is dropping everything, returning the money and has offered to help the woman. Happy ending. BUT... Way too much is happening too fast and seems to be on "auto-pilot". Luke Combs says he "wasn't aware" of the lawsuit. The woman wasn't aware of the lawsuit. Legal "service" was by email that went to a spam folder!!!!! Somehow, lawyers have found a way to clock down FEES without either party being aware and the only documentation is on the internet in spam folders!!!!!! If Luke Combs holds a copyright, that's fine, he is entitled to that...but NO ONE should be sued for HIS copyright without HIS express consent and initiation. NO ONE should be found liable when there is no documentation they were even served. Registered mail is acceptable in most states as a substitute for in person legal service. This woman was DENIED due process. And ANYONE making and selling merchandise had better be aware of the legalities. If you're not sure, get an attorney. If you can't afford an attorney, be aware you MAY be sued.
