  2. Since when has Homewood become a "black neighborhood"? That's a big change from the 60s. I recall Homewood in the 60s as being a middle/upper middle class community with nicely maintained homes, lawns and gardens. Perfectly located to easily commute to good jobs in Chicago or Gary, IN. People have to understand that THEFT reduces a store's "performance". The store could be packed with customers, 24/7 but if the THEFT and abuse of generous return policies causes a LOSS or even for the store to just "fall below expectations"...BYE BYE!
