There are a LOT cheaper places to live than Seattle, with LOTS of restaurant jobs. I can't help you with your student loan which resulted in a degree qualifying you for a job as a line cook. Should have studied Business or Engineering. Clue to you: Rent is NOT "on top of" student loan, car insurance and medical insurance payments. Those payments are on top of rent. Maybe get a job with better healthcare, move to a location with cheaper rent, lower taxes. MOVE!
