  3. I recently ran into my elected US representative in a grocery store, while grocery shopping. I recognized him and stopped to say hello and congratulate him on winning his primary election. He didn't run away, he didn't knock things off shelves. He graciously spoke to me for several minutes. He made no excuses to end the conversation. I asked him his position on some issues and he gave me clear answers...and was very frank and direct in doing so. After a few minutes, we wished each other a good day and went about our shopping. These people ASK to be our representatives, they actively seek our votes. They should NEVER run away from their constituents or reporters. In fact they should WELCOME every opportunity to interact with the voters who elected them. Oddly enough, I didn't see anyone else talking to him in the store. Do YOU know your representatives? Would you recognize them if you pass them in the paper towel aisle? Pay attention! VOTE!!!!!!!!!!
