Actually, the worst that can happen under Dobbs is for a woman to have to buy a plane ticket. But I am delighted to see them rip themselves apart. 🤣

So much for the Dobbs decision "uniting" the Democrat party. Personally, I don't care WHY people don't like Joe Biden. 🤣 I am delighted to see the Democrat party rip itself into little, Balkanized, pieces. Hopefully, only half of them show up to vote in November.

A woman from Mississippi could carry a child for 9 months, collect welfare the whole time and the day before the birth she can fly to New York (or CA, VT, IL, OR, WA) and get a partial birth abortion. Other states have no limits on the number of abortions a woman can have per year.

@adamgreen5680 Only people who can't do math say that. A plane ticket is MUCH cheaper than giving birth and raising a child. There is NO monetary comparison. Doesn't matter WHO pays for it. Abortion is cheaper. That's just a fact. Why do you think employers are offering to pay travel costs for abortions? They can do the math. Travel costs are less than paid maternity leave, additional medical benefits and employees losing time from work to care for children.🤣

@lancefulbright2685 Of course. I was a senior in college in Texas when Roe v. Wade was decided. It was well known in the 60s and 70s when a girl "took a trip" to NY or CA what it meant. It was a known phrase..."Oh, she needs to take a trip to NY" Plane tickets were a lot more expensive then (relatively speaking), and it was cheaper to fly to NY than CA as I recall. NY was the more common destination for Texas girls "in trouble". You had to go to a doctor for a pregnancy test and a travel agent to get a plane ticket. Few people had credit cards, especially young women. It was a cash deal. Now? You can buy the plane ticket and make the abortion appointment on your smart phone, with your credit card, in your bathroom, where you took the home pregnancy test you bought at the grocery store. 🙄
