Terms for representatives are set by the Constitution. Changing them requires a Constitutional Amendment. However it is initiated, an amendment needs ratification by 38 states' legislatures. Good luck with that. What we NEED is an electorate that PAYS ATTENTION!!!!!!!!!! We get to limit their terms every two years.

@joeyjohnson4826 Actually, you need 2/3 of states' legislatures to call for a Constitutional Convention to propose a Constitutional Amendment. The last time that happened, the ONLY time, was 1787. To RATIFY a Constitutional Amendment, whether proposed at a Convention of the states OR by a 2/3 vote of both chambers of Congress, it needs to be agreed to by 3/4 of the state legislatures. On the other hand, the Constitution already allows the electorate to limit terms every two years. We call it an "election". So far, this primary season, a bunch of Congresspersons have been "term limited" by electing their opponent as the candidate in November. Many more to come.

Did anyone NOT know he was a RINO? He is up for reelection again in 2026. If he doesn't retire. He'll be 70 years old in 2026. Think anyone will remember?

@tywhitmire860 Are you another one who is going to vote anymore? So you expect politicians in 3/4 of state legislatures to limit their own terms? You want everything on "cruise control" so you don't have to pay attention? Stop making excuses. Pay attention and VOTE.

@tywhitmire860 And you didn't notice that 19 states have changed their election laws? That the All Star game was moved in protest of the new election laws in GA? Did you notice the entire Democrat delegation of the Texas legislature fled the state for more than a month in a failed attempt to prevent the changes to election laws? Were you paying attention when the Democrats failed to nationalize elections? Did you know that their attempts to keep Republicans off state ballots in GA and AZ have failed? Did you notice that VA elected a Republican Governor and flipped the House? Did you pay attention when, despite Biden getting "81 million votes", Democrats LOST 11 seats in Congress and EVERY one of them was a "swing district"? If you paid attention, you would KNOW that congressional elections have NOT been compromised. It is a LOT more difficult to "compromise" 535 individual elections than ONE Presidential election. Stop whining! And stop trying to discourage people from voting. VOTE!

@Dog-ManTribe We learned enough that 19 states changed their election laws. Including all 5 of the states that made the difference in 2020. Remember the All Star Game being moved? Remember the entire Democrat delegation of the Texas legislature self exiling to try to prevent the changes? They failed. This panicked the Democrats so much they tried to nationalize elections, and failed. The Democrats tried to end the filibuster so they change election laws and could pack the courts. They failed. They then tried to keep candidates off the ballot in GA and AZ and failed. VA elected a Republican Governor and flipped the State House of Delegates Republican. Seems like we learned a lot. Are you going to vote, or pretend nothing has been done to secure our elections and try to tell other people not to vote? Put on your big boy pants, wipe off the tears and VOTE!!!!!!!!!
