  1. I live in Florida. We have early voting (and have had it for decades). We do NOT have general mail in ballots. Early voting ends the Sunday before the election .We DO have absentee ballots that have to be requested in advance AND have to be returned before the polls close. If they are mailed in and received the day after the election...they don't count. Voter ID is required for all ballots. But we were ONLY able to do that with an overwhelming Republican majority in the legislature and a Republican Governor. Arizona need not apply. Instead of trying to return the election process back to 1980...ONE election day with in-person ballots, seems like Republicans need to embrace and USE the system we have the way the Democrats do.
