  1. Won't work. 1. Drug cartels will seize control of it, if they haven't already, and costs will go up, along with thefts of cargo, or drugs will be put into containers. 2. Can't pass warships over a railway. 3. Why not just unload in CA and ship by rail across the US? In the three days of extra sailing time for the ships PLUS reloading cargo onto ships on the other side, the cargo could reach it's destination within the US, even on the east coast. And that is not counting any delays at the ports on both ends. This is a cover for the drug cartels.

  3. It's a cover for drug shipments from China, Colombia to the USA and points east. It's funded, and will be controlled by, the drug cartels. Just like everything else in Mexico.
