Wait. You're saying if a company has higher costs, they pass that on to consumers? WHAT!?!?!?! Someone needs to tell this to the Democrats who are planning to "tax corporations" to pay for their spending plan and saying it won't cost us anything.

@playlist55 Actually, they DO understand that. Every time Trump proposed tariffs the Democrats would howl that "American consumers will pay the price" Tariffs are a tax. In fact, prior to income tax, that was the major form of government revenue. AND Tariffs are a "voluntary tax"...you can avoid them by not buying the products. Taxes on corporations are involuntarily passed to the consumers. BUT...with inflation so high, maybe they hope no one will notice.
