  1. I went to work overseas in 2004-2006. I was in a country where very few people spoke English and had no internet. So I stopped watching TV. When I returned to the US in 2006 I never hooked up my TV ever again. I've never missed it. I think the 'new media' will totally eclipse the legacy media very soon (if it hasn't already)

  3. I agree. I am retired now, when I had my own business I NEVER discussed politics or religion. I was in business for the 💰. I didn't care if my clients were Democrats, Republicans, gay, straight, transgender, Muslim, Jewish, or Christian. I didn't discuss politics, gender, sexuality, or religion. I provided a service, they paid for it. WIN WIN.

  4. I agree. It's a business that depends on advertisers and subscribers paying you money. WHY on earth would you want to alienate 1/2 of your potential income?!?!? I think if I owned a newspaper, I would not even have an "editorial" staff.
