  2. Spoiler alert: BOTH amendments (abortion and marijuana legalization) will PASS in Florida. You were happy when Roe v. Wade was struck down. This is what that looks like. Being in a Representative Republic doesn't mean you always get your way. Also spoiler alert: Neither amendment will affect the outcome of the Presidential or Senate election in Florida. Trump will carry the state and Scott will be reelected. I doubt it will have any effect on House races either. I will vote for Trump, Scott AND in favor of both these amendments.

  3. It got on the ballot under the rules of the Florida constitution for presenting State constitutional amendments. THIS is what defeating Roe v. Wade looks like. You wanted that, right?

  5. Prior to Roe v. Wade, it was up to states to make abortion laws. After overturning Roe v. Wade it has been returned to the states to make abortion laws. Each state has it's own procedures for making laws. It can go through the legislature, OR through a constitutional amendment process. THIS is what you wanted. The amendment will pass.
