  1. In the early 90s you could buy those things for under $100. I recall my local gun shop had a carousel display of SKS rifles for $89. At the same time you could buy M1 carbines for $139. I bought 2 M1s but passed on the SKS. I guess I should have bought a truckload of each. Who knew? 🤷‍♂
