  1. NO! A subpoena is NOT a warrant. Subpoenas are NOT issued by judges, they are issued on the sole authority of an officer of the court. An attorney. Any and all subpoenas CAN BE challenged in court. I would expect a safe manufacturer to give the FBI a big đź–•and CHALLENEGE any subpoena even to the level of the Supreme Court. As you correctly stated, Brandon, the warrant is between the individual and the FBI. The warrant allows the FBI to search the safe, NO ONE else is required to give the FBI anything to affect that search UNLESS ordered by a court, and a subpoena is NOT a court order. If the owner of the safe does not comply with opening the safe, then the owner can be charged with obstruction. But NO ONE not named in the WARRANT needs to comply or cooperate with the FBI.
