  2. IF Russia is not stopped in Ukraine, the Baltics WILL be the next Russian target. They will invade through Belarus on the excuse of being "entitled" to an unimpeded, contiguous, land corridor to Kaliningrad Oblast. They've been talking about it for 30 years! It was always nothing but a trap to give that territory to Russia. It will also be the end of any illusion of independence for Belarus. Keep in mind that the USSR and Russia have never invaded and attempted to take over a country that they do not have a contiguous land connection with. (Yugoslavia and Bulgaria being perfect examples. Bulgaria even officially asked to be made a Republic of the USSR). Their request was declined. Even Hungary, Czechoslovakia and Poland, who they did not "directly" control, had contiguous land connections to the USSR. Russia did not invade Ukraine on a large scale until after the Kerch rail bridge was completed in July, 2020 and it could be used to build up troops and supplies in Crimea. And you thought it was because Putin was afraid of President Trump?🤣 Russia has always been heavily dependent on rail transport for the military. They have no sort of "heavy lift" capability. They can dabble in Syria and Africa on a limited basis only, and they aren't trying to "annex" them in any case.
