  1. They just opened an Aldi near us in Florida. I had visited them in Europe many times. While I never lived in Germany, I went there many times (and München is my favorite German city!) It is an impressively clean country. Then...I went to Switzerland. Which is OCD clean! My wife is Ukrainian, and I lived in Ukraine. I visited most of the European countries while living in Ukraine. And, yes, the USA is one of the few places where eggs are refrigerated. BTW some stores in the USA, particularly Hispanic grocery stores, sell eggs unrefrigerated.
