  1. What this Bill was attempting to do was restore parts of the Voting Rights Act that were struck down by the Supreme Court. The specific parts were those that required "certain states" (states which had been part of the confederacy, 1861-1865) would require DOJ approval of any voting law changes. So, for example...Texas and Georgia would need Merrick Garland's approval to change their voting laws!!!!!!!!!!! And this RINO votes for it! The Democrats have continued to fight against the rights of states to pass laws which reduce the ability of Democrats to CHEAT in elections. constitution So, more than anything, she was denying and fighting against the checks and balances that are the foundation of our country. Alaska needs to primary Murkowski. She is up for election in 2022. She was the ONLY Republican to vote to advance the bill. So, it failed to advance.
