  1.  @ntvypr4820  That has not been the case so far. Both Texas and Florida have been more "red" in recent elections. Trump carried Florida in 2020 with three times the margin he had in 2016. If our 2022 Governor election were held to day, DeSantis would carry Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. THAT is unheard of. The Rio Grande valley, Democrat stronghold in Texas, has been turning more "red" and they have elected a lot of Republicans to local and county offices. These are not retired people from Chicago and New York moving here and living on their investments and pensions. This is a different migration, and the people are looking for jobs that won't be shut down by despotic Governors, schools and churches that won't be shut down, lower taxes, lower cost of living. Never forget that California cast more votes for Trump than any other state. twice. The people who are fleeing are NOT the leftist Democrats who are perfectly happy to stay in their socialist Utopias.
