  1. It isn't better when the Right tells lies, Mr. Burchett. The $100 billion for disaster relief is NOT 'for 'this administration' (Biden) and it is NOT 'for 30 days'. I recall you complaining that FEMA didn't have the money needed when these disasters occurred. Now you complain when the money is authorized. Our military cannot work on 90 days funding at a time. The Coast Guard is the most critical element of our military right now...they are the ones fighting drug smugglers and illegal immigration, not to mention rescuing Americans in danger, and you want to dribble money to them 90 days at a time?!?!? The submarine funding has been needed for years. Why do you not want a strong military?!?! You can't build submarines in 90 days. This piecemeal funding is devastating to the military! The insurance of the shipping company for the Key bridge damage does NOT cover upgrades needed to prevent another bridge collapse the next time the bridge gets hit by a ship. That is in the interest of the taxpayers. Again 'this administration' (Biden) will not be handling those repairs. And you say you 'don't understand that' ?!?!?! 'Another billion went to Ukraine without our input'. LIAR. That 1 billion was part of the $61 billion Congress approved earlier this year. The House voted to approve that money. STOP LYING. You're a Congressman and you say 'I don't what that's about' regarding the $1 billion to Ecuador?!?!? That was about money the Congress approved to fight climate change. I don't agree with it...but stop saying you 'don't know what that's about'. And it had NOTHING to do with this spending bill. The President can't just give $1 billion to anyone without Congressional approval. That's what these elections were about. Trump won, Republicans got control of the Senate...but not yet. And it was CONGRESS, the House of Representatives, that did the USUAL and jammed us up against a deadline. The Democrats did that on purpose to have one last chance in case they lost the election...and Republicans LET THEM DO IT. If you feel like you got 'played', it's because you aren't paying attention! Your constituents deserve someone who pays attention!
