  2.  @dave09gla  If he switched parties the Republicans would have the majority and all the nonsense passed by the House could just be tossed in the Senate trash can by the GOP Senate majority leader without consideration. How Manchin would vote on issues wouldn't matter if the issues were never voted on. Flipping ONE seat in the Senate would change everything. Dems may as well turn off the lights and go home for the next two years.
