  1. How about ending government backed low interest student loans! Making loans easier to obtain never reduced the cost or improved the quality of ANYTHING. Going into 10s (or hundreds) of thousands of dollars in debt when you don't even have a job is SO STUPID it should disqualify anyone from college admission. Myself, my wife and our FOUR children all attended college, 2 bachelor's degrees, 3 master's degrees and a PhD and -0- debt. Scholarships, stipends and WORK paid for all of it.
