  1. And, hence the reason Congressman Mike Gallagher (R-WI) voted against impeachment. Was he the only one (besides me) that KNEW this was going nowhere? It was a colossal waste of time, all intended just to get political campaign talking points. There is no constitutional time requirement for the Senate to have a trial just because the House impeached someone. Schumer can decide to it AFTER the election. OR...not have a trial at all. What are the Republicans going to do about it? Sue him? Appeal it? Get a ruling from the Supreme Court next year? I seem to recall Trump trying to postpone HIS trials until after the election. 🤔 Dems have a lot of Senators up for election this cycle. They don't need to be on the record with unpopular votes. (defending Myorkas) Myorkas was never going to be removed anyway, they never had the 67 votes, but Schumer decided it would be better not to go "on the record"...which is all the Republicans ever expected. Schumer didn't fall for the trap. It's time the Republicans started playing F*CK YOU! politics also! (they did when they refused to confirm Merrick Garland to the Supreme Court, but I guess they forgot how)
