  15. Stimulus checks were passed immediately and went out immediately. Covid hit in mid March 2020. My first stimulus check landed in my bank account April 4, 2020. They gave THREE stimulus checks, 2 in 2020 and 1 in early 2021. $1200/person, $600/person and $1,400/person. The government spent over $3 TRILLION in covid relief funds JUST IN 2020! $600/WEEK to people unemployed PLUS maximum state UI benefits. 81% of unemployed people made MORE MONEY being unemployed!!!!!!! You know nothing about Ukraine, you have never lived or worked there and have no family there under constant fire. ONLY Putin lovers oppose aid to Ukraine.

  21. One of the demands YOU had for Speaker Johnson was "single issue bills". Remember? That's what these were. EACH was a single issue bill. Each PASSED by overwhelmingly majorities. Even super-majorities. The House passed HR2 to protect our borders. They did their job on the border issue. Take up your complaints with the Democrat controlled Senate.

  22.  @howtheheckru8102  TRUMP found the solution to break the stalemate on Ukraine aid. Convert the non-military aid to a LOAN. The military aid portion doesn't go to Ukraine, the MONEY goes to US Citizens to build the weapons to send to Ukraine. They get weapons, WE get good jobs for US Citizens. (you have to be a citizen to work for arms makers) TRUMP met with Johnson at Mara Lago the weekend before the bill was advanced in the House. Coincidence? No. TRUMP has not said a word to oppose the bill, he has publicly supported Johnson and has now called on the European countries to "follow our lead" and contribute more to Ukraine.

To be precise (fair has nothing to do with it), Democrats will NEVER vote for a Republican Speaker. It was the 8 GOP "Squad" members that ousted McCarthy. Not the Dems. Everyone KNEW they would vote to oust him. Didn't you? Every Democrat also voted against Johnson. THAT's what the GOP squad counted on. That is the ONLY way 8 members could control a 435 member body. But that was when Gaetz was in charge of the Squad. He has backed off and now MTG the top Squad leader. Trump supports Johnson because he sees what the GOP is doing to itself! MTG's amendment to the Ukraine aid bill was defeated by a FIVE to ONE margin. MTG needs to get over herself and STFU!!!!!!!! My guess is that Johnson has forged a deal with the Dems to save his job. All he needs is a majority of the members present for the vote. And a Quorum is half the members with at least one from each party. Do the math. My guess is Johnson will survive.

  25.  @ScottH.  Johnson has been endorsed by Trump, and it was Trump that originally suggested converting the Ukraine aid to a LOAN, rather than a gift...which this bill did. The people who opposed this are NOT "MAGA". Part of America being great is being a world LEADER. Trump orchestrated this whole thing...and it will be Trump that defends Johnson when the GOP "Squad" tries to take him out.

And IF they passed there, Biden would veto them. And if he didn't veto them, he would ignore them. STOP expecting anything to change with a TWO seat majority in the House and a Dem controlled Senate and White House.

  31.  @Fedupnow  Presidents don't "pass" ANY bills. Presidential candidates can't "stop" any bills. That said...The bill you are referring to did nothing to protect the border. The Senate just needs to pass HR 2, already approved passed by the House. Meanwhile, Biden could reinstate the policies he eliminated on his first day in office...just by saying so.
