  1. They are illegal aliens. They are NOT "migrants". Migrants (an official immigration status for migrant workers) have VISAS and MIGRATE between their home country and the USA. They come here LEGALLY to do specific jobs (mostly agricultural, but some others also) and then they RETURN to their home country. Think of ducks and geese and robins. They MIGRATE south for the winter, then MIGRATE back north when winter is over. They don't STAY. They MIGRATE. They are MIGRANTS. ILLEGAL aliens have no intention of MIGRATING back to their home country. They are NOT immigrants. Immigrants are not "illegal" and are not "undocumented". My wife is an immigrant, and until she became a US citizen (which immigrants CAN do, illegal aliens can NOT) we had tons of documentation. Boxes and boxes of documentation. Immigrants who follow the law are the most damaged by illegal aliens. Calling them "illegal immigrants" is like calling a drug dealer an "undocumented pharmacist". Words MEAN things.
