  1. Did your mother ever tell tell you: "Don't pick up strangers...unless they offer to pay you a few dollars."? Hmmm? 🤔 I didn't think so. Being an Uber (or Lyft) driver is an incredibly high risk occupation for the compensation offered. You are driving YOUR vehicle in all kinds of traffic and weather conditions (vehicle accidents are a leading cause of death and injury) picking up strangers...basically hitchhikers...and putting them in YOUR vehicle without any information about who they are and you can't search them for weapons. Remember the rules: 1. ALWAYS be armed. 2. If you live where you are not allowed to ALWAYS be armed, refer to rule #1. Until you MOVE.
