Ā bill tedĀ  When a single person has a huge influence on the value of a stock, as Musk evidently has, he can influence the value of the stock, up OR down, by his actions out of proportion to the 9.2% of share he owns. Which means he can influence the company out of proportion to the 9.2% he owns. 9.2% is enough to get him a seat on the Board of Directors, for one thing.
