  1. The rope-a-dope appointment of Gaetz as AG was an excuse for him to quit Congress and, hopefully, not have the report released. Nice try. Pam Bondi was always Trump's choice for Attorney General. My guess is we will find Gaetz had little choice but to resign and it was an attempt to prevent embarrassment. Just because there was not enough evidence to charge him with crimes doesn't mean he could survive a political prosecution.
