I'm from Florida. If DeSantis becomes President, we will still "have him" as our President. If he doesn't become President, we will still have him as Governor. WIN WIN for Florida! We are Americans first, Floridians second. We want the best for America...which will be the best for Florida. DeSantis, 2024!!!!!! Save America.

DeSantis signed school choice, with portable tax credits to assist with tuition. DeSantis signed the toughest death penalty law in the US. DeSantis signed legislation to increase funding for armed security in all Florida schools, public and private. DeSantis signed a heartbeat abortion bill into law. DeSantis signed legislation giving parents input in public school curriculums. DeSantis cut taxes and fees to Floridians. DeSantis led the legislature to a Republican supermajority. DeSantis won reelection by the largest margin if Florida history. DeSantis, 2024. Save America!

I'm from Florida. DeSantis was my Congressman. I am glad he became my Governor. Now I would be glad if he became our President. If he gets elected as President in 2024 he will have served 6 years as Governor. Promise kept. If he doesn't become President, he will still be the Governor until 2026. If he becomes President, it will be good for Florida AND the whole country. DeSantis, 2024

@jeremyknapp892 Well, Jeremy...Ron DeSantis can't be "Governor for Life". He is term limited in 2026 anyway. I'm going to trust that we, the people of Florida (I live in Florida) have been given a great example of what to expect from a Governor and will make a wise choice to replace Ron DeSantis. There are a lot of great potential replacements for Gov. DeSantis. Ashley Moody, our current Attorney General; Greg Steube, Congressman; Jennette Nunez, Lieutenant Governor; Byron Donalds, Congressman; State Representative Webster Barnaby. Republicans in Florida have a very deep bench of great candidates. We're going to be just fine.

Finally? Trump announced his 2016 run on June 15, 2015. Trump announced his reelection bid in June, 2019. The only reason Trump announced so early this time was a failed attempt to avoid criminal charges.

@mistyviolet3825 Well, Misty, DeSantis is not Governor for Life. He has to leave in 2026 at the latest. Term limits. You're just going to have to trust us in Florida to choose a good replacement. We have many to choose from...Jennette Nunez, Ashley Moody, Byron Donalds, Greg Stuebe and Webster Barnaby just to name a very few. The fact that DeSantis has secured our election system from fraud will help.

@mananimal3644 We don't have mail in ballots in Florida, except for absentee which must be requested in advance, with ID and signature match and MUST be in the elections office 2 days BEFORE the polls open. Absentee ballots are counted BEFORE the "day of" voting. That way there can't be any shenanigans. We also have voter ID for voting, citizenship ID for registration and require registration in advance. Our election systems was reinforced by Ron DeSantis to prevent fraud. That's why, in 2020, Florida, the 3rd most populous state in the country, was able to report it's election results 3 hours after the polls closed. Maybe it was a coincidence that Miami-Dade and Broward counties flipped RED in 2022, or maybe it was because DeSantis cleaned up the nonsense of "finding" ballots days after the election. 🤷‍♂ Thank you, Governor DeSantis.

@debbiematteo7046 Well, I live in Florida, so let me respond. DeSantis is term limited. He cannot be Governor past 2026. He is not "Governor for Life". His leadership inspired us in to Florida to elect an overwhelming majority, of both chambers of our legislature, with solid conservative Republicans. A "Super Majority +" Unlike Trump, DeSantis increased Republican influence in the legislature. Florida has a large pool of candidates in DeSantis' mold. We will choose one of them to replace DeSantis in 2026 anyway. Ashley Moody, Byron Donalds, Greg Stuebe, Webster Barnaby, Jennette Nunez. We all know who these good candidates are, even if you don't. We know what to do. We are all big boys and girls here in Florida.

School choice with tax credits for tuition to private schools Banned CRT in Florida schools Banned biological males in female sports in Florida schools Heartbeat abortion ban Permitless concealed carry Increased funding for armed security in all Florida schools, public and private Banned credit card companies from operating in Florida if they discriminate against firearm retailers. Tax cuts Increased tax exemptions for property owners. State fee cuts. The largest budget surplus in state history. The largest majority of conservative Republicans in the state legislature in history. And that's just a sample of what he has accomplished JUST THIS YEAR!

@teresaphillips2940 Exactly. I cannot believe some people say DeSantis is a RINO. RINOs do not act like DeSantis. He has been far more effective at "draining the swamp" (we have a lot of swamps in Florida) than Trump ever was. RINOs don't sign permitless concealed carry and 6 week abortion bans. RINOs don't sign school choice and give tax credits to parents for private school tuition. RINOs don't keep a state open while being called "Governor DeathSantis"

@kimaelani No, he did not promise he would not run for President in 2024. Ever. I live in Florida. I watched all the debates. He was asked that question many times. He NEVER said "I will not run for President in 2024" EVER. Many times he said "I am focusing on the Governor's election" "I am currently focusing on retiring Charlie Crist" Anyone who says he "promised" he would not run in 2024 is either lying or imagining things. I voted for him twice as my US House Representative (I live in the 6th district) I voted for him twice as my Governor. I will vote for him for President.

@kimaelani Kimbo, you can't do math. Governors are elected for FOUR year terms. IF DeSantis had promised not to run in 2024 (he didn't) he would be promising to remain Governor for EIGHT years. Not six. 🙄 He made no such "promise" except in the fevered imagination of Trump supporters scared to death of him. I voted for him twice as Governor. I will be first in line at early in-person voting, with my ID in hand, to vote for him in the primary election for President. Cleaning up our state's voting process was one of DeSantis' first term accomplishments.
