  1. Possibly yes. That is for the DOJ to determine. So, here's how it works... 1. Congress has to make a referral to the DOJ for lying under oath to Congress. 2. The DOJ (headed by Merrick Garland, appointed by Joe Biden) then decides if there is enough for them to do an investigation of the facts that are forwarded with the referral from Congress. 3. After the investigation is complete, the DOJ then determines whether to seek an indictment from a Grand Jury in Washington DC, since that is where the alleged crime occurred. 4. Then the jury has to decides whether to indict. 5. IF they indict, then Dorsey stands trial by a jury in Washington DC and IF, after all that, the jury UNANIMOUSLY decides Dorsey is guilty of lying to Congress, he will most likely get a fine, possibly 30 days in jail. Anyone expecting more than that will be disappointed.
