  4. Can't get them out by impeaching. You can only get them out by convicting AFTER impeachment...in the Senate. That takes 67 votes. Never going to happen. The best the GOP can hope for is 55 seats and 2-3 of them would not vote to convict.

  5.  @DrMackSplackem  You are right that skultar is mistaken. But impeachment is NOT a "trial". It is the political equivalent of an indictment. A charge. An accusation. The "Trial" is held in the Senate, the Senators are the Jury and the VOTE that they take is the "verdict" of the jury. It requires 67 votes to convict. Impeachments of lower ranked government officials...Like a judge or a cabinet secretary...most often result in them resigning, so an impeachment CAN BE a way to get rid of them, but only if they choose to quit. No President that was impeached ever resigned and none were convicted or removed. Richard Nixon, for example, resigned before he was impeached. Alejandro Myorkas, for example, if he were impeached, it is highly likely he would resign or be asked to resign. Or Fired. The bad news is that Biden would just pick another Secretary based on identity politics, who would follow the same policy...which policy is dictated by Biden.
