@Omnificence2016 I don't agree. I do not think the left wants Harris as President. They may have at one time, but she cured them of that with her total lack of skills. Biden at least, can claim to be senile. Harris is just worthless. If anything, she is insurance that Biden will not resign.

It would be neither. Harris would be President but neither Pelosi nor Schumer would be VP. (Unless Harris named one of them as her VP, not likely) Harris would name her own VP. Or not. When LBJ became President after the Kennedy assassination, he had no VP until he ran for election himself in 1964 when he chose Humphrey as his running mate.. The order of succession applies ONLY if both the President and Vice President are killed or die in office at the same time or without naming a VP. The Speaker of the House could have become President in 1963/64 had LBJ died in office, for example, without naming a VP. But the Speaker of the House did not "become" the VP. John McCormack was Speaker at the time. He never served as VP. When Nixon resigned, Ford became President, but he named Nelson Rockefeller his VP.

@chiyokew763 I said she would probably not pick Nancy. Feel free to read again. I have no idea who she would pick. Neither do you. You're willing to make an uninformed guess. I'm not. In any case, Biden will not be impeached before 2023, and even if he is impeached then, there will not be 67 Senators to remove him. Kamala is highly unlikely to become President, unless Biden dies in office. Kamala is insurance against impeachment or 25th amendment removal.

Biden will not be impeached. The Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, sets the agenda. She will simply ignore any articles of impeachment introduced by the Republicans, whether or not any Democrats support it. We may as well debate how many ghosts can dance on the head of a pin. It is not going to happen. There could be a remote possibility that Democrats could demand he resign, but Harris is pretty much insurance against that. She is probably the least popular political figure ever and lacks basic adult skills and qualities. Dems will not want her as President. Biden is hurting their chances enough.
