  1. No person who would do this cares about any "laws" to prevent him from doing this. This kind of person needs to be met at every K-12 school with an armed, trained person. The good guy with the gun needs to be there FIRST and always. Not 19 lives too late.

  3.  @anaserranocorces4551  It is also already illegal to enter a school with a gun and shoot children. 🙄 The law against robberies, or shooting children, does not stop ANY robberies. It DOES give you a punishment to apply when someone violates that law. LAWS don't prevent bank robberies, but armed guards DO, which is why there is a market for armed guards. Our children deserve at least the same consideration that banks and sports events get. The good guy with a gun needs to be there FIRST.

  5.  @anaserranocorces4551  Punishment for crimes is for when prevention fails. NO law "against" anything prevents that thing from happening. Whether it's a parking ticket or a school shooting. Prevention is not the same as punishment. We need to prevent school shootings by reducing the possibility the shooter will accomplish his goal. Harden the target. END GUN FREE ZONES.
