I would settle for 57-43 if we could get rid of Romney, Murkowski and Collins. At least then they wouldn't be on any committees.

@notmychannel6867 The discussion was about the Senate. FWIW, Kinzinger's House seat has been eliminated by the Democrat legislature in IL as part of redistricting. IL lost a House seat and eliminated Kinzinger's. IF he runs, he will need to run against an incumbent Democrat in a Democrat majority district. So Kinzinger is a goner. TX gained 2 seats and FL gained one. Both will go to Republicans, no doubt. Cheney is polling poorly BUT Wyoming's jungle primary gives the nomination to the person with the most votes. Cheney herself, or her father, could finance a bunch of "challengers" to split the vote and Cheney could be nominated with 20% of the vote.

@notmychannel6867 Oh...and Mitch McConnell was just elected in 2020, so he is not up for re-election until 2026 and will probably retire at that time. We're stuck with McConnell, though Republicans could choose a new leader.
