You don't "run" as VP, you get selected as VP by the nominee. DeSantis has -0- reason to be interested in the VP position. He is Governor of the 3rd most populous state and would be FAR BETTER off, politically, serving out his time as Governor of Florida, than being anyone's VP. He will run for President, in 2024 and/or 2028 ...or not. He won't be anyone's VP. He could run in 2024 and if he doesn't get the nomination, he could run again in 2028 and/or 2032, 2036, 2040. DeSantis is 45 years old...he has lots of time.

Trump should be attacking Biden, not other Republicans. This "silver bullet" is nonsense. DeSantis will just say he changed his mind, or that it was part of a bigger bill...blah, blah, blah. And you won't catch DeSantis sleeping on that issue, believe me, he already has his explanation. There is no such thing as a "silver bullet" in politics. Trump is going to have to tell people how he will address the issues facing America now, not the ones facing America in 2016. Attacking other Republicans and carrying on about the 2020 election or saying "This would not have happened if I were President' won't cut it. You are NOT President and all that stuff HAPPENED...so start telling us what you are going to DO if we choose YOU to FIX it.

@Danafondo Yes...AFTER being selected by the nominee for President you run as VP on the SAME TICKET as the Presidential nominee. No one gets a vote for VP. Seriously, trying to split that hair makes you look ridiculous and has nothing to do with what the original post stated. People who are unaware of how it works are part of the problem. They are usually the ones who want "term limits". 🤣
