  1. The only way this can go to the Supreme Court is if Trump is convicted and spends years appealing the conviction. If you think ANY political party is going to put an indicted, or convicted, felon on their ballots and debate stages, in the primary election, you're dreaming. Trump's name will never appear on a Republican primary ballot. He'll have to run as an independent...and that will assure Biden's re-election. The best thing Trump can do for the country at this point is to withdraw from the race, endorse Ron DeSantis, and hope for a pardon. DeSantis has promised to review all the people in these various prosecutions and to issue pardons to any tat are determined to be political.
