  1. I went to high school in the mid 60s (ie. more than 20 years ago) and a guy I knew stole a car, and got caught. Car theft has been happening for as long as there have been cars. It wasn't a Kia, though. It was a 1963 Chevy Impala. FWIW, he got a 5 year suspended sentence IF he agreed to enlist in the Marine Corps. Yeah, they did that then.
