  3. @A Megalodon With Internet Connection I swim in the ocean at New Smyrna Beach, shark bite capital of the world. The best time would be in March when the shark migration occurs and there are 10s of thousands of sharks, many right up to the shore. You can hardly avoiding bumping into them. They show up about the same time as the tasty young college girls in thong bikinis for spring break. I am not sure it is a coincidence. Bigger sharks come there to eat the smaller ones, and that makes for an interesting show when a 12-15 foot hammerhead runs a few 5 foot blacktips up onto the beach, right between your feet. Exciting! When I'm not there, I swim at Blue Springs State Park. DeLeon Springs is another great place. Both are crystal clear natural springs in the St. John's river. The water temperature is the same year 'round, and these are the springs reportedly called "The Fountain of Youth" by Spanish explorer Ponce DeLeon. The St. John's river has, reportedly, the highest concentration of alligators in the world. It is connected to the ocean and they occasionally catch bull sharks in the river. Can you handle that? People like it because if you don't get eaten by an alligator, you will feel 10 years younger after swimming there. If you do get eaten...well, you won't be getting any older. Hence the name. I'm old, I have little to lose anyway. Take your choice. Of course there is the whole intercoastal waterway thing that runs the entire perimeter of the state between the mainland and the barrier islands, and has people swimming and BOTH sharks and alligators!

  6.  @edgyanole9705  So your statement is wrong. Bull sharks living in fresh water lakes and rivers in Florida can, and do, eat alligators. Glad we clarified that. The vast majority of alligators I see while fishing are under 4 feet long. Many of them less than 1 meter long. The big ones aren't usually so obvious and there are far fewer of them. "Small alligators are eaten by a variety of predators including raccoons, otters, wading birds, and fish; however, larger alligators may be their most significant predator." (source Florida FWC) I have seen many small alligators carried off by eagles and ospreys.

  7.  @edgyanole9705  That is not what you specifically said. But I accept your correction. It is unlikely that a bull shark would attack and eat a full size American alligator. Why would they? Lots of smaller alligators to eat. Since small-dog-sized raccoons are a major predator of alligators, I would say a bull shark would have no problem with them. There are no American crocodiles in this area. They inhabit only the southern areas of Florida and prefer salt or brackish water habitats.

  8.  @edgyanole9705  Have you ever seen an alligator? I live close to a lake that is in the St. John's River chain of lakes. It contains BOTH alligators and bull sharks. Many of the alligators I see are about the size of my forearm, many more are less than 3 feet long. It is not uncommon to see dozens of these juvenile alligators on banks, basking together. Bull sharks can run up 10 feet long and weigh up to 1000 pounds. They live in both fresh and salt water. I also fish offshore and I can tell you that I have been "shark'd" by bull sharks many times, taking fish right off my hook in one bite that are bigger than a lot of the alligators in the lake. So, just to be clear, you are saying that NO bull shark could ever eat ANY alligator. Is that what you are saying?
