So basically, "chew the cud" means animals with more than one stomach burp up their food to chew it and pass it on to a different stomach. . Cows not only eat much cleaner than pigs, they sweat much better than pigs, and so get rid of toxins better. Pigs are dirty and full of poisons. Sure, they might make good pets for some people, but are never to be eaten.

I've read the New Testament thru around 40 times, and remember Jesus saying about the law in Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. . Here in 2023, I don't remember heaven and earth passing away yet. Have you?

  13.  @NexBS2022  Nex, there are also scientific reasons to show some logical reasons why God says pork is not fit for human consumption. For example, pigs' sweat differently from some other animals. Of course they eat all sorts of refuse. Their stomachs are different from grass-eating animals etc. These are things that keep toxins in their bodies.
