@robbypolter6689 robby, you have no idea what you are talking about regarding the level of knowledge of Japanese students. . Also, without a degree you can't get a working visa for most countries.

@isobutylquinoline allen, your ethnocentricity is on full display.

Making generalizations about life are absolutely necessary to live.

Hitodama, another Southerner here. The humidity of Tennessee is similar to Osaka's. Keep seeing other foreigners around me melting, but it's OK for me. I will admit tho, the older I get, the more it affects me.

@agibitable agib, But I joined Youtube one day before you. 😼

Here, Here!

If from inland Florida, you should have no problem.

@justicedinosaur7302 Mt. Fuji is basically only open to the general public to climb in the summer. I went there 21 years ago in August, and nearly froze to death, as it got down to 0C that night! I paid 50yen and huddled in a restroom stall until daybreak.

8:40 Actually, it IS a broken system. Call a spade a spade.

@KunaiKrazy Kunai, If you're from eastern Texas, you should have no problem with Japan's humidity. I'm from the South too, and Osaka's humidity is a bit comforting, actually. But yeah, when the wind dies down, it's rough. I usually keep the A/C set at 29 or 30C.
1
Radeo, you advice is exactly the opposite of reality.

履正社 @Radeo Radeo, I just went and checked what Tokyo Electric Power says about this, and they did a study showing the difference between 3 settings, from least electricity used to most: 1. Low power A/C with dehumidifier 2. A/C 3. Reheated-air dehumidifier . My unit only has "A/C" and "dehumidifier" settings, so not sure if these other settings are on most new units or not.

@yyyy-uv3po Did that for 3 years in downtown Osaka. Daytime was bearable, but nighttime wasn't.

おめでとう!

So you compliment the person for being kind to you?

If you are from the humid South, you should have no problem in Japan's summers, IF you can get A/C at night. This Tennessean doesn't mind Osaka summers too much, but remember that you usually spend more time outdoors in Japan - walking to train stations and riding bicycles to go grocery shopping etc., so it can get to you.

@agibitable agib, Wow, so you make over 110,000usd/year in Japan! I'm impressed.
1
@uamdbro uamdbro, Sounds like you understand the situation quite well. I will admit that the humidity in nearly all of Europe and all except the southern part of America is much lower tho.

Wildfires are often caused by humans in other countries.

@kakousaDuffy 丁寧に書こうとする心遣いは有難いけど「If you don’t get high」はめっちゃ失礼ですよ。 使ってる翻訳HPはGoogle? DeepL?

"copywrite", your subliminal joke is cool.

@Aerolupus I used to escape the heat by riding the loop line train around Osaka.
1
Humidity. It got to 92F one day in Osaka last May, but I still had my long pants and long-sleeved shirt on, as the humidity was low then. Now, the temps may be the same, but causing lots of sweat even with almost no clothes on.

3:16 I really wanted to upvote this video, but how can I when you make this ridiculous statement? Also, the job market in America isn't bad as stated. America has NOT had "runaway inflation". . Good financial advice. Would be even better if you mentioned first giving 10% back to God like he says to do. 14:20 3,564jpy for 2.2kg Quaker Oats?! That's ridiculous! Go to Lamu and get 2kg bag for 426jpy. Even Gyomu-Super has 2kg for around 520jpy. . Lots of good points, "delayed gratification" being one of the best. Your hair is getting blacker too.
