[there is] none good but one, [that is], God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. . Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also [is it] in them to do good. . No one expects a Christmas tree to talk, or to be afraid of, or to do good or bad. . The obvious interpretation is that God is telling people to not cut down a tree and carve an idol out of it. . Let's read and believe the whole Holy Bible.
