They also jumped into a war they shouldn't have been so involved in, just as the Emperor predicted. The Jedi separated many more families than individuals were killed by Vader in RoTS George Lucas himself said he made the prequels to show that the Jedi weren't that great either and caused problems rather than fixing them, so it wasn't that wrong compared to the other errors from these interviews
