  4.  @Tensquaremetreworkshop Not envy... fairness. Just pay the same rate of tax that WE have to pay. You DO know why offshore tax havens exist ? You MUST know what they are used for ? You CAN'T believe that without those people economies can't exist ? You SURELY understand where the source of their wealth comes from ?

The reason they exist, with the approval of the BoE is to put wealth beyond the UK tax regulations that apply to the rest of us.. Yes fairness. In order that the wealthy should benefit from the PO sell off, the PO pension multi billion pound black hole was removed and is now a taxpayer burden. Thames Water was debt free when privatised. Only because the debt was written off at the expense of the British taxpayer, just to benefit profiteers....i could go on.. Richard Branson pays no UK tax,, while his workforce has to. It the wealthy paid their fair share, they would still be wealthy. Fairness isn't an.outrageous thing to desire. Anyway, we won't convince each other. But thanks for your comments

He wanted taxpayer funded furlough payments for his workforce.. Virgin rail will no doubt, like other rail companies, receive tax subsidies. Whatever he believes, it's not reality. No, life isn't fair. It can be made fairer

Richard Branson called for heavier taxes on the wealthy to mitigate inequality and to improve the living standards of others. What a hypocrite. And despite writing books on "standing on your own feet" his ventures have benefitted from billions of tax subsidies from me and you. He also called for increased living wages , based on the Scandinavian experiment.

  8. If you want to believe everything Richard B says, read his comments at the Milken Institute summit in Abu Dhabi 2019. He actually calls for the wealthy to pay heavier taxes.. it's interesting to read a hypocrite's opinions. Also, have a look at his views on a living wage. It might surprise you that your trusted Billionaire doesn't hold the views that you have​ @Tensquaremetreworkshop

  13. No political party can enact any policy when Corporate institutions and banks are opposed to it. So its austerity for us again, American infiltration of the NHS to profit from UK taxpayers, removal of financial regulations to help millionaires, tax havens to stay, Privateers to get more government contracts ( PFI) sll over again,and pensioners can be the first in line to fill s black hole because Keir won't stand up to the banks
